Indigenous Collections Exhibition

Curated by Jory Thomas and Justin Bear, the Indigenous Collections Exhibition was created to showcase the School of
Art Gallery’s Indigenous art for the Post-Secondary Club tours of the ARTlab space. Indigenous students from six different highschools visited the exhibition and enjoyed stories about the work, including the traditional Cree ‘Rolling Head’
story and about Jory’s initiative to rematriate a number of Inuit art pieces in the collection.
